Fire Pit & BBQ

Elderflower Cottage's enclosed social space looks across miles of unspoiled ancient forest. There is both a fire pit and a BBQ to help you enjoy your time outside during the day and in the evening.

Help yourself to the locally sourced firewood, matches and firelighters. For safety reasons we keep the matches and firelighters in the wall unit in the kitchen out of reach of children. The fire pit gets very hot and will stay hot for hours after the fire goes out, please supervise children accordingly.

The gas BBQ is built into the dining table on the patio. To light it, lift the blue lever into the upright position on the blue gas bottle, hold the black dial on the BBQ grill down for five seconds and then press the red igniter button a few times to light the flame. Once the grill is lit you can take your hand off the black dial. To turn off the BBQ simply put the blue lever on the gas bottle into the horizontal position.
